Surveyor and when working on a Grade 1 listed building it is essential to have
someone who knows what they are doing. Tim has cheerfully assisted me on repairs
ranging from simple lead flashings to ornate and complex rainwater systems. The

Leadwork were personally recommended to me by a number of tradesmen who all noted
that Tim was the best(and loudest) leadworker in Stamford. Both the standard of
workmanship and his helpful and accomodating solutions, particularly to a number
of problematic details throughout the refurbishment works did not disappoint.
The workmanship and attention to detail is excellent and is especially evident
when you compare it other leadwork in the town.

had done a quote for our main contractor on the renovation, for the replacement
of the leadwork over two ornamental projecting windows on an Edwardian house;
but we had forgotten to give him the go-ahead. Once the other work was finished
I rang him; he confirmed that the quote would stand in spite of increases in the
price of lead; he said he could start in two weeks and finish the job in two days.
He confirmed in advance that he was coming on the planned day; arrived on time,
worked the two days and left no mess. His invoice was precisely what we expected,
the job looks absolutely perfect and I recommend Rutland Leadwork strongly.

can genuinely recommend the work undertaken by Tim Mytton of Rutland leadwork.
His work is beautiful and the four lead window boxes I have had made have all
been much admired and copied. They are custom made and can be as simple, elegant
or intricately embellished as you wish, mine have all been made with a "step"
inside so that they fit the window sill perfectly and don't have to be wedged
to keep them level and Tim fits them securely so they cannot be stolen. Tim listens
very carefully to your needs and meets them, in time and on budget!
